Where We Store It
Temporary Storage
This site relies on memory, database storage and browser cookies for temporary storage of user information.
Browser session data and Search Criteria are only stored on a temporary basis. This information is removed from storage with the user's browser session expires.

What We Do With It
Analytics
This site collects your internet protocol address (IP) for use in maintaining usage counts. Usage counts are used solely for site maintenance, security and development purposes.
Search Criteria
Search criteria is stored on our servers for use in providing a richer search experience
for site users. Search criteria is restored when users revisit a search page, this avoids having the user re-enter the information again.
Web User Sign-In
Web User information is used to validate users in order to provide additional services such as web purchases and access to web subscription services.
The Web User email address and password is used to authenticate the user. First and last name is used for greetings, receipting and support.
Corporate User Sign-In
Corporate User sign-in information is used to validate users in order to provide access to subscription services.
Web Purchase
Web User sign-in data is used for the payment and fulfullment of web purchases. Web User name is passed on to our payment processing vendor as a convienience, eliminating the need to re-enter it.
The last 4 digits of credit card used is saved for use in purchase receipts.
Web Users can optionally have our site save a payment link from our payment processing vendor. This link does not contain credit card or personal information.
The link can be used on subsequent purchase to speed payment information collect at our payment processor's site.
Distribution of Collected Information
With the exception of Payment Processing for web purchases, theCountyRecorder.com does not share any user information collected with anyone unless required by law.
theCountyRecorder.com will not distribute or sell personal information to third-party organizations.
Payment Processing
theCountyRecorder.com uses Stripe.com for payment processing.
User information including first and last name is shared with Stripe.com as a convienence to the Web User.
